"Tougher Than The Times" Relieving Suffering... Releasing Potential...

Greetings!
History, for those willing to embrace its insights, demonstrates repeatedly that we live in cycles of crisis and relative peace. As time marches on-as much as we may resist it -circumstances change. Wars erupt, governments shift, spiritual revivals occur, diseases evolve and economies rise and fall.
Inherent within each of these circumstances there are opportunities for growth. Utilizing our will and wisdom and imagination, we can shape the circumstances and bring about a positive result. Or, we can merely turn and run and hide when adversity strikes. We may not be able to choose the situations we find ourselves in but we can choose how we will respond to them.

| WHAT YOU WANT TO DO... DO THE OPPOSITE |
| by Rolfe Carawan |
Is it any wonder a keynote topic like "Tougher than the Times" has surged to "most requested" status lately? Of course not. It doesn't seem to matter whether you are a corporate executive, factory worker, healthcare provider, small business owner, or government official. Across the board, Americans are facing some "tough times" and looking for solutions.
The best news about all of this is that we seem to be of one mind as Americans as we view our current global and economic challenges as temporal. We know that "this too, shall pass". Still, the questions of how we "get to the other side" and "how long will it take" linger heavily in the air. Bottom line, in order to get through "tough times," we need to be "tougher." So, what does it take to be tougher than the times exactly?
First, we need to understand that often times, what is required of us in challenging circumstances is exactly OPPOSITE of what we want to do. Too often, we want to "hunker down" and "wait it out." Perhaps we keep operating at the status quo and simply "hope for the best." Unfortunately, this passive mentality will have us run over, defeated, and beaten down in no time flat. There are two important facts to remember when becoming "Tougher than the times." One, any challenge or obstacle worth our time and attention will require strategic action on our part. Two, in times like these, our best defense is offense. "Click here to read more"

Goes To.. Dennis & Cookie Jones by Rolfe Carawan |
Over the past 31 years, Dennis and Cookie Jones have worked together in the aesthetic industry, but aside from business, one of their passions has been missions work in China, Russia, Africa and other unreached areas of the world. When Dennis and Cookie were told about a possible business opportunity in the quaint little town of Rockwell, North Carolina, things suddenly took a new, but familiar direction. The business was a small lip balm manufacturing factory that employed hardworking, hometown folks.
A Floundering Company
Once a growing business, FillTech was now at the point of closing its doors, and saying goodbye to those who had dedicated most of their working years to the company. After visiting the lip balm factory and meeting with the plant manager, God dropped a burden and a vision in the hearts of Dennis and Cookie to not only revive a dying business, but with God's help and direction, to help change a community. As they drove away from the plant that day, the Lord impressed on both of them that this was now their new mission field...Rockwell, North Carolina. "Click here to read more"

There are times when it literally seems like everyone is out to help you and all things are falling into place. We are so excited to announce that NOW is one of those times for Rolfe and our team! Just last week, Rolfe's "Run to the Roar" message was used to inspire our Congressman, Randy Forbes. Additionally, Congressman Forbes chose to pass the message along to each of his constituents!! In what can be described gently as "intimidating times" for our country, Rolfe is incredibly honored that his message of courage and optimism was used to inspire our leaders in "such a time as this". If you have not had the chance to hear Rolfe speak about "Running to the Roar", now is the time. If you are interested in bringing this message to your clients or corporation, take a moment to read the entire article posted by Randy Forbes click here or see Rolfe speak on the subject click here.
